Wow again! Do you have a copy of Handwovens Weavers companion?
I got it and their knitting companion when they first came out. Loaded with information for all types of tips . They are available from The Websters.
Love this project but more than that your spirit and confidence to press ahead and figure out how to make a go of it. Good for you!
Goatldi, thanks! Yes, I do have that book, and I'm glad you mentioned it because I still need reminders on my warp and weft calculations. Also the sett and sleying charts. So much quicker to reference that book.
I don't know about confidence; I'm just willing to make mistakes. :) I'm still trying to get back to my previous level of skills. 14 years is a long time to be away from something.
I think it looks great, Leigh!
Being from a not quite as cold climate, I never really had scarves growing up. It was a "cold weather" thing. I have come to appreciate them more.
TB, I know what you mean about scarves. They often seem to be a fashion accessory nowadays, which can be a fun way to add texture or color. I just hope the recipient likes it!
Indeed, it is my friend good Lord!
I’ve got 22 threads on my rigid handle downstairs in the kitchen. Don’t ask me how long they’ve been sitting there. I thought having it down there would make it more convenient. Apparently it’s more convenient to walk away from it LOL
You and I will both get to the finish line on this slow and steady like the tortoise.
Sounds like you need motivation! I find the longer an unfinished project sits, the easier it is to feel unenthusiastic about it. Such is the case with my barn jacket, that needs the embroidery finished!
