A Nifty Gadget for Weaving

I found this nifty little gadget at Advanced Auto Parts. At 68 cents each, I bought two. I love gadgets anyway, but this one looked as though it might come in very handy for things around the loom.

Here's the first thing that came to mind. Any other ideas as to what I could do with it?

I use something similar (it ratchets down to lock though) to hold my raddle onto the back of my loom. I warp back to front and leave the threads running through the raddle. Little gadgets like this are priceless for doing that kind of thing!

I use those on the inkle loom at the end of the heddle bar. I'll try it as a chart holder. Thanks!
