My problem when lashing on is tying on at the end. I go around the rod a few times and then tie a series of what I suppose are slip knots. And slip they do. Thus my problem. (I've even pulled up a long loop and then made bonafied knots) The warp seems to be evenly tensioned at first, but after a few feet or a yard, the tie off end side begins to slacken. Oh wise one, words of wisdom?
And in answer to your question, about my question, about your jugs for warping? I didn't see them so thought you had "gone to the other side".Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16639651281869634626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26055463.post-1145454726660025462006-04-19T08:52:00.000-05:002006-04-19T08:52:00.000-05:00Oh, Peg, what an enticing suggestion shadow weave ...Oh, Peg, what an enticing suggestion shadow weave is. Either you've been reading my mind or I've been reading yours. I made a small shadow weave sample for a design board a few years ago. That sample eventually became an eyeglasses case for my father, but I was intrigued by the possibilities of that structure and weaving log cabin scarves has brought it to mind again. I think it is a logical next step for me! Plus it will be a perfect way to use up all the odds and ends of Red Heart. :)

Will also try your suggestion for attaching a new weft yarn.Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02435811789823712254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26055463.post-1145431303147302892006-04-19T02:21:00.000-05:002006-04-19T02:21:00.000-05:00Hi Leigh!I see that you have joined a lot of us ou...Hi Leigh!
I see that you have joined a lot of us out here in blogland.
I also see that I influenced this activity on your part.mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15394151626833055415noreply@blogger.com
