One of my reasons for b2f is because of less loom waste. Right now on my Dorset is another hand spun scarf and I will have less then 5 inches of loom waste.

Thanks for the list of tips. They are good ones!Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11545713753520362397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26055463.post-44071147228304995722007-04-03T11:52:00.000-05:002007-04-03T11:52:00.000-05:00A wonderful read on your warping journey. I think I will get some rings for my lease sticks.........
It often does take many repetitions in order to be able honestly to decide if an approach is right for you. On a much smaller scale, it took me a while to get used to my AVL auto-denter. Now you couldn't pry it out of my hands.......(grin!)Peg in South Carolinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07886923838871937466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26055463.post-61139252481389105912007-04-02T15:32:00.000-05:002007-04-02T15:32:00.000-05:00I am just in awe of your weaving - it all seems so...I am just in awe of your weaving - it all seems so complicated, but you do it so well :-) I'll have more baby pictures up tomorrow - be sure to tell Rascal that Neelix got to go into the den of the vishus sheep "'cause they was all penned up" - He was just fascinated by the babies being born and purred and talked (he normally never says a thing) and talked & talked - we finally had to shut him out because he was spooking the ewe! I noticed there was 2 kinds, one with a more curved s and the other with a straighter s. I got the curved kind as I didn't want anything falling off!Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02435811789823712254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26055463.post-72365987817784916452007-04-01T13:55:00.000-05:002007-04-01T13:55:00.000-05:00I haven't gotten comfortable with b2f, though I ha...I haven't gotten comfortable with b2f, though I have all the equipment, books, etc and plan to try again. For now, because I mostly use my handspun and the warps are short, I enjoy f2b. I still use F2B occasionally, especially for shorter multiyarn warps.

Thanks for the Summer and Winter recap. I got so far behind that I didn't even warp the loom for samples until the last day of March!Charleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13777340733393515857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26055463.post-58130758687391077642007-04-01T13:01:00.000-05:002007-04-01T13:01:00.000-05:00What is the size on your s hooks? What is the size on your s hooks?Laritzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06380883584186444453noreply@blogger.com
